Foobar-GNTP Plugin

Growl support for Foobar2000

Unstable Release removed

Added a foo-gntp-0.2.3b release a few days ago in an attempt to fix a bug where sockets aren't closed correctly.

It turns out that the bug was not caused in the plugin, and the code to fix it released made the plugin unstable. The release was removed from the site, and you should download foo-gntp-0.2.3 if you downloaded the other one.

The fix for the bug with the sockets should be out in the next release of Growl For Windows.

Version 0.2.3

Fixed a bug where tracks with unicode characters would not show album art, even if art was available.

Version 0.2.2

Updates the code that now communicates with Growl. This should hopefully solve a bug that froze both Foobar2000 and Growl until one was manually shutdown.

Bug fix

Version 0.2.1

Fixes problem with albumart where only the first tracks played album art was shown.
edit: posted wrong version number 1.2.1 instead of 0.2.1, fixed

Album Art and new Icon

Version 0.2

Changes:
Added support for album art
Changed the icon

The album art is stored in a temporary file and the url is then sent to Growl.
The temporary file is overwritten each time a new song with album art is played.

edit: Oh, and the new icon was found here

Initial Release

So, here's the Foobar-GNTP plugin.

If you don't like the foobar icon, you can switch it for what you want. It's placed in foobar's 'icons' folder under the name 'foobar2000.png'

It currently supports the following notifications: Playback Starts, Playback Paused, Playback Stopped

Make sure you suggest in the comments what you feel is missing in the plugin.
